1974 CJ5 W/AMC 304 Oil Dipstick problem

Hey everyone. I am a newbie on here but have been using your site for the past few months to gather info while rebuilding my 1974 CJ5. Everything has been going mostly according to plan until last night I noticed my dipstick was loose. When I went to pull it out the whole thing including the tube came off. It looks like it broke off right at the block. We pulled the motor about 8 weeks ago and put it in about 5 weeks ago and I'm guessing that is when it happened. I've searched around haven't found any info and was wondering if anyone knew where I should go or the best coarse of action. I have a few pictures I posted here.
