high speed shimmy

Got some high speed shimmy after rebuilding Blue and today I rebuilt both side kingpin bearings so that is nice and tight. Took it out and its the same. Its not a wobble with the steering wheel turning, more of a shimmy with the column going side to side type of vibration and its pretty rough when I hit ~65mph.
I'm going to check tightness on the spring eyes, shackles, U-bolts and the such. Anything else I should look at.
BTW, this is with a manual Saginaw setup. Running 32" TSLs. I've swapped F-R and changed pressure. Under ~65mph its smooth.

Have you tried balancing your tires?

I have had shimmying issues with different vehicles, especially Jeeps. Always traced it to tires out of balance.:coffee:

The front two are new and had them balanced at a reputable 4wd shop.
I do have other tires that I could toss on and see if there is a difference.

Me Too! Have about the same setup, manuel sagy (new box), 32" ss radials swapped them front to back, checked air pressure (hardly any miles), king pins are new, same thing my starts at about 50-60 and some times goes a way at a little higher speeds.

I have the same problem. I even have a really tight open nuckle D30. I did find that one of my tires were out of ballance. This helped the problem, but I still have it at 60 mph. It's just not really that noticable now. I was thinking loose steering parts, but they're all new. I also checked toe. Not there eather. The next thing I was going to check was spring bushings. I know they're bad. I just haven't been able to get to them yet.
