Consider putting castor shims in between the springs and perches. The castor is probably off anyway so the shims will help that and the clearance problems.

I have degree shims in with the thicker part to the rear. They must be in backwards. Just assumed that they went that way.

Thicker part should go forward, if you want to increase caster. Longer shackles won't move the tie rod away from the springs....

I am going to change the position of the shims, thicker part to the front. That is probably how the shims were before I replaced the springs.I took the jeep completly apart a year ago, polishing, painting, and rebuilding every part. Took lots of pictures, but did'nt take enough. Every day it gets harder to rember the little things. I realy apprciate the help.

If changing the shims still isn't enough you may want to flip the tie rods to the top of the knuckles. I had the same problem with my three inch lift, and didn't have shims in either. Here's the link to the people I got my set from:

    DrewDog_CJ3A I'm back!!

I did what Chris mentioned above. Ream the hole to taper from the top and mount. Everything is clear and it works great!!

You should install a tapered sleeve in the bottom side to counter where old taper was. I think it is OK 4wd or Oklahoma 4wd center. They have the sleeves. It's been awhile since I flipped mounts on my D30. They advertise in one of the mags.
