If someone could make some measurements of the bracket, I could make my own...I got this pic from google.

Here you go...Hopefully you can figure out what I did...It was kind of hard to measure the bend. I recommend bending a long strip in order to get the bend measurements correct, then cut off the ends.

Sorry guys, school got very busy and I forgot to reply. Thank you focker for the measurements! Could you also measure to the location of that bracket (mine originally had the hanging gas pedal) and the thickness of the metal?

Unfortunately I won't have a chance to actually make one for 2 more weeks when I go home for break. So no rush! Thanks again.

I measured from where the floor pan starts to rise for the pedal area. The bracket is about 1/4" from the transmission hump. The thickness is 3/16".

Need to look at where the rod comes thru the transnission cover and how it hits on the back of the gas pedal. When I installed the gas pedal on my cover, the rod detemined where the gas pedal bracket went.

That's how I would do it too.

If there's already a hole in the floor...I would wait to drill a hole in your bracket until you get it lined up.

No holes in the floor yet, since the original pedal was hanging. I'll drill the holes in the floor last, once I'm happy with the way everything lines up

How are you going to attach to the back of the pedal? With the bottom attached to the floor, assume the back of the pedal will have to slide in some fashion.

Does the rod slide in a groove in the back of the pedal?
