Got my Heater Delete panel installed, yea!! But, would have been used to plug the nipple on the water pump that goes to the heater? This is on a '67 CJ6 - 225 V6 - Stock engine.

Likely a cap. Dorman sells a cap for this purpose, 02250 5/8" and 02251 3/4". www.dormanproducts.com Any parts store can get Dorman stuff.

I usually just loop a hose back to the other nipple on the intake.

That is how I have been running it. Just was wondering how the factory would have configured it.

Was there a different Water Pump? So far haven't found anything in the parts book about heater delete.

Off to FLAPS to get a Dorman cap.

    jpflat2a what's that noise?

There would have been a rubber cap with hose clamp over the nipple I believe.

EDIT. This is what the parts manual shows.

    Group 2 Cooling
    shown with the water pump
Page GR2 - L2 in my parts book.
I couldn't get my printer to scan the page last night,
otherwise I would have posted it.

OK, thanks. Must have a different parts book than mine. Mine is a Kaiser publication Copyright 1967. Cooling group is Group 10, and the page numbers are different.

    Thanks

    Jon.

It's called a cap in the parts manual p/n 930864 if you want to look for the p/n.
It's just a rubber slip on cap with a hose clamp.

fwiw the water pump that came off of the marine 225 we just used didnt have the hose fitting on it, and it was cast iron not aluminum.
