Yes!You were really close to both of those center pins failing!
I do carry 2 extra in my toolbox. But it is defiantly easier to swap these out in the garage.

I haven't bleed the brakes yet, waiting on installing new extended lines on front axle.

Couple things….when I did the front brake conversion I used calipers from a 1976 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4. I went to 3 auto parts stores and was told they could order them and should be here in couple days…WTF it’s a common caliper. I could have ordered them myself…..Waiting on parts now.
I did get the brakes to feel a little better, about 60%, but still needs more bleeding. I did find a few fittings that I was able to get a little movement on.Any update on the brakes
