These are cool....I think we've seen this truck before? But I don't remember the Butte, America location. Might look better with chrome grille and bumper? I assume originally that it would have had them?

Seems like that all would have been chrome. Pretty truck - I'd color-match the wheels to the body (or white), do the grille and bumper in chrome, and find headlights that don't make it look like a zombie.

Originally, the NAPCO trucks were mostly painted bumpers and grilles (in white) because the NAPCO conversion was so expensive. Crome was extra and the NAPCOs were usually farm/work trucks.

Definitely. 4wd would have been for a work truck. And definitely would have only been done if they really needed it. Not something just to drive to town.

Love the NAPCO trucks although this one in particular doesn't really do it for me.

Marmon-Harrington did the early Ford conversions as I recall. Willys and Dodge were offering factory 4x4 options long before Ford and Chevy who outsourced their conversions to these third party companies until like the early/mid 60s I believe.

2wd and yellow, but here is the look with white bumper, grille and hubcaps - it works, but chrome would be better

not chrome originally off white now black.

the napco stuff is expensive . mine is on an 83 frame now. I have the napco transfer case still.
