On Board Air?

Do you really need 1500psi on your jeep?

I'm much happier with my Viair 400c mounted to the frame on my 2A between the starter and the fender
Super clean install!

FWIW, I have a dual cylinder 12vdc pump that I purposely did not hard mount to a vehicle. I generally tow my Wagon to the destination with my 4x4 Sprinter, and sometimes that happens t be down many miles of washboard. In that case I drop the PSI on all 8 tires. I have the NAPA version:
It's really basic so it required a few upgrades like a pressure cut off switch. Lots of yootoob vids out there to help with that if so needed. Costco sold some desert tan plastic storage boxes that keep the compressor and my 4 way inflater hose set-up nicely contained, and it's easy to toss in the back of either vehicle. (I only use one box, and it has room for other gear as well). As I do use the vehicles individually at times, it was just easier and cheaper to keep the compressor portable.
Now if someone wants to sponsor a second compressor, I'll gladly do a build thread :) And no, that surplus unit in the above add doesn't count. But I gotta ask; who would want that? High pressure and no volume....

They used to be much in demand in the days of DIY Scuba, jiggered to reach close to 2000psi.

But today's divers are using 3000psi and up. Maybe a paintballer could use it?

Regardless I'd grab it at that price. My military jeeps are 24volt. Make a hellacious 106mm potato cannon for my M38A1-C!
