Looking good. I love the TDK frame. It looks like it is the solution for you. Doesn't it feel good to know your frame is solid? I know it does for me.

I cant wait to try it out after driving the clapped one. I find it interesting that none of the holes drilled by the p.o. line up with any mounting points on the new frame ,the old frame had spread by several inches.

Looks good! That thing is coming together.redid the tailpipes again third time is a charm... didn't like the wheelbarrow style of ver 2
a little paint on the skid for the gas tank and the rub rails and the tub should go on for good.

its tough to accomplish much with work and life events, but I try to do something everyday...I was hoping for a may 15 completion date but will most likely miss that as this weekend is for the boy's wedding shower.

I'm retired but still can't seem to get to build up my D300 and the rest of my project, with helping my wife and neighbors with their projects.

Started the twin stick by drilling one of the shifters out to fit the pin in the transfer case
it fits kinda like this it will need some plates to engage the shift rails more on that later

still needs some bending to fit the tub
a flexi grease line for the rear axle vent it will tie into a group type event to a higher location
and some more 3d printed clamps for the nylon fuel and return lines.

going to try the return line from the regulator in the filler neck,I have a new one coming and will use somekind of bulkhead fitting. This should let me start it and break in the cam.
Shifters loosely bent into shape
and the two plates needed to make the twin sticks work.... I have new bushings and will print some kind of spacer for the inner stick.Pay no attention to the extra hole it was a test run apparently.

yeah no kidding I was looking forward to a test drive this weekend but no dice....so I took the monte for a rip that helped with the pain.
