Cj3b Headlight Buckets

I am working on a customers jeep and he lost most of the headlgiht parts. He has the bucket that bolts to the grill but nothing else. I read the CJ3B and the CJ5 share the same buckets. My question is how differnt is the 72-86 buckets than the early CJ ones? I see they sell the bucket kits for the later CJ and If I can get them in this grill it will make life easier than trying to find original ones. This is a hunting jeep so the owner does not care about originality as much

I think the later ones will work, but try Sam at Partdude4x4. He has some used buckets and probably the bezels too.

The wagon/pickup buckets/bezels will also fit and probably the FC too. I have 57 wagon buckets in my 3B. Those were aluminum rather than the stock steel version.

Thanks but i had the customer order the later buckets and i will make them work.
