So I have a 1945 Willy's MB-T trailer that I use occasionally for trips to Lowe's, the dump, and other short trips around town. I may be using it for a longer few hundred mile trip this summer and starting thinking about the wheel bearings. Mainly how to service them. I have not had any issues for the 10 years I have owned it, the hubs never ever get warm. I heard from a semi-reliable source, the PO, that the bearings were not the normal pack 'em with grease type but rather more of an oil bath type.

After scouring the web I can't seem to find any information on how to service these particular bearings. I have found lists of tools required but nothing that indicates grease vs oil. Has anyone had any experience with these bearings? I suspect they should be similar to a M100 if not identical.

    Thanks!

Thanks. I ended up using the same high temp wheel bearing grease I use on the 74. Turns out the bearings and hubs are interchangeable with the 74.
