What trailer is this?

    A buddy of mine has this trailer for sale and all I can see on it is 1951 stamped on the plate. It's a pretty big trailer 9x6 maybe?......Do y'all know what kind it is? Oh yeah it says ordinance too....

    Its a 3/4 ton M101 cargo trailer. These were used behind the M37 Dodge, M88X series Dodge, M10XX series Gm trucks, and todays Humv until the units began getting M11XX series trailers that match the HUMVs profile exactly.

    We still have them on my Base in use today

    As a side note, that trailer is a HEAVY sucker and wouldn't be a good match to any jeep, even a modern one.

    Jonny is correct a full size pickup at a minimum for towing, and a 3/4 - 1 ton preferred.
