Well i bled the clutch adn rebled the clutch. I can get the tranny to shift with the clutch down but not all the time. I am thinknig either i have to break in the tranny for it to shift smoothly or i maybe having problems with the shifter itself. The shifter seemed to be in good shape. Only thing i did notice was the pin that holds the handle into the houseing was a bit worn down, i replaced it with a bolt i ground down to fit and it did take alot of the wobble out. It will shift fine when the jeep is not on, but when the motor is on it will shift but it seems like i have to fiddle throguh the gears to get it to go in. I really do not think it is the clutch now since i know what the throw is on the slave and everything seems to be kosher, and the slave defiantely moves like it should. Is there a palce that i can get a reconditioned T18 housing, or even a new one?? I am thinknig about jsut replacing it to make sure either it is the problem or not the problem. It is the older style shifter with the reverse is over and up. The forks are not bent and they are the kind that do not have the plastic bushing inserts.

    Thanks!!

It sure sounds like the clutch is dragging a little. Is your bleeder on the slave at the top or the side? If you have it on the bottom it may not be possible to bleed all the air out of the system. I thought you had that clutch dialed in, Dan.

I bled it from the top, and boy have i bled it. The clutch maybe dragging. I was talking to my friend in the club and he mentioned that probably what happened is the pilot bushing is cocked a touch and it is binding on it, so probably will drive it around and get it to wear a bit, not the best thing, but it will work. I just do not want to drop the tranny anymore.
