What did you do for exhaust?

    Looking for exhaust setup for my F-134 I have the stock manifold and have been looking for ideas of how to set it up.
    Idea number one is probably the easiest, which is just to buy this kit. http://www.kaiserwillys.com/product/317/willys_exhaustsystems
    Idea number to is to order new old stock stuff form this website which is the most expensive but more correct then most reproduction parts. http://www.willysjeepparts.com/Exhaust_System_Package_Deals.htm

    Idea number three is just to order a muffler and have a local bend the pipe. I have no idea how much this will cost.

    I bought the exhaust kit from Walck's. Similar to the link you provided. It works great.

    I got mine from my flaps. Any parts store that handles Walker exhaust should be able to get them Napa had them overnite from a regional warehouse.

    Ditto on the Walck's kit. Fit perfectly and less than the two options you linked.

    Any complaints about the walck's kit, everything fit. does it sound ok, I don't want it loud but also want a decent noise.

    I don't have a 134. Mine is a 225. I can tell you the stock system was crap! It hung down way too low! I had it destroyed in just months.

    I went to a set of headers. They were probably low rent, but they weren't what I wanted.

    Finally I went to a exhaust shop. As I had a PTO winch I told him I didn't need duals as the PTO side would be a pain. I only asked that it didn't leak and didn't rattle. When I returned he had build a single system, but he went down the PTO side!

    That was in the mid 70s and it's still with me. I hope I can find as good a exhaust man when this system finally bites the dust.

    So, the question is, "How happy would you be with a stock system?". In the case of the V6, I for one, wouldn't be very happy. At least when I was in my 20's and did a lot of boondocking.

    I'm planning on buying the F-134 kit from DeBella's. $120 I think it is, and he "says" it's all N.O.S. parts. Anybody have any experience with them?

    As long as the internals of the muffler aren't all rusted from storage, fit and material should be as good as new. Me, I like my new stuff shiny. Pipes 40+ years old are bound to have some dings, scratches and surface rust. Chambered exhaust for a big block Chevelle?? Yeah, I'd spring for NOS if I could. A Jeep, not so much.

    I never used the Walcks kit, but I bought a kit from KaiserWillys.com once and I wound up having to take it to the muffler shop anyway to be bent correctly.

    What did it cost to go that route? Cheaper than Walck's or DeBella's? I didn't figure 50+ year old exhaust parts would be in stock at any FLAPS.

    I got the head pipe and main pipe first. Muffler I got later along with the tailpipe. Prices were a bit less than online. No shipping, charged to my store account so I got 45 days to pay and free returns/exchange if something didn't fit right. I used all Walker stuff from front to rear. Fit perfectly. I will say a NOS muffler will probably be made with heavier gauge steel, but 40 years of shelf wear and corrosion isn't worth it to me if I got to pay to get it, pay again to send it back, etc etc. Here are your part #'s:http://www.walkerexhaust.com/images/catalog/coupons/12919.gif

    Kaiser Willys http://www.kaiserwillys.com/product/317/willys_exhaustsystems was where I bought my exhaust system two years ago, but I seem to remember the price was around $145.00. It was easy to install, it had a great fit, and I hardly had any issues with clearances. I was surprised to see that my review was still on there!

    BUT, if I had to do it all over again, I would go with a custom exhaust system with a larger diameter pipe. I have noticed that my top end isn't what it should be. I know that the four poppers don't put out that much power in the first place, but I have noticed that I can't get the Jeep up to 45 MPH like it use to.

    Go down to your FLAPs and look up the walker parts. Back when I still had the F134 in there, the parts were about $100 from the manifold back plus another $15 or so for some universal hangers. Fit well and up high. No problems. No shipping. Local FLAPS was a Carquest.
