I pulled my old clutch off and pulled my flywheel also. On inspection i notuced that i did over heat the flywheel a touch probably from Tellico :( But what concerns me more than the little bit of blue is that i have some small cracks in the flywheel surface. If i resurface th eflywheel will this take out the cracks?? The flywheel was surfaced a while ago when i last had it apart, but i didnt have any cracks then. I had this flywheel balanced for my motor :(

    So what should I do??

Not worry because the flywheel will resurface just fine??

Or get a mortgage now for shipping a heavy flywheel from somebody that has one??

    Thanks!!!!

Now i jsut have to figure out if my mrear main seal is leking, it looks like it maybe but it is hard to tell if the oil was from my tranny leaking from the input shaft.

Cool i guess i had it cranked down too much like i thought in tellico. but my slave cylinder backet is now in the paint booth.. eerr sitting outside on a piece of newspaper drying from my rattle can spray job ;) So ow i do not have to worry bout the clutch reacting to the body.

hehehe.. i have a new one so i am not concerned with the old. look like one finger was a touch bent. the bottom wasnt bad, it looked like it heated and chattered (or however you explain it) since it looks like there was a mark that it was skipping on the metal.

oh man.. how much space dpoes that take up ;) I was looking on the side of the garage today. There is room, and would be nice to only haveto cut out 2 1 foot holes . Is it all self contained?? My freind Mark (guy with TJ in Tellico) was over today and we were discussing it. Says it wont be hard, he has donw concrete work cutout liek that :)
