V-6 carb gasket

    I'm just curious about my setup. The manifold base would match the gasket that is burnt up in the middle. Looking at the carb base itself I see why. The carb base itself matches the NAPA gasket. Mismatch? And should I be concerned? Gonna go with it for now, but, what's going on here?

    Stu the gasket is fine. But that being said I would get the gasket that has the the top exhaust cossover plugged off, it will help with the carb bolts rotting off and it will help keep the heat from getting to the carb in the sumer. The curved passage across the top of the gasket will be all solid, I used one from my boat carb rebuild kit, but they are available from NAPA.

    Thanks, Mike! No sense of me making judgements on my own when I have you folks! Gotta mow a bit, then stick the carb on and see what I won........
