I remember someone asking about a tub rotisserie a while back. Just got my Army Motors magazine(MVPA) and someone did a little article about one they made. Just used 2x6, plywood, drywall screws and large bolts to make an A-frame. Looks like he used scaffold castors on the legs so it can roll around, and connected the bottom of the legs using 2x4 so they wouldn't fold under from the weight of the tub. He attached the A-frame to the Jeep frame by the 4 pintle hook bolt holes in the rear crossmember, and looks like a 2x4 in place of the front crossmember, wedged inbetween the frame rails and bolted on.

the front end of the A-frame pivots on a large bolt, and the rear he made up a pivot using a piece of pipe and a pipe vice to clamp it down.
The pivot hight is 45 inches.

If anyone wants a picture of it, I can scan it in, but it may take a while. My scanner crapped out on me and I'll have to wait till I get to my parents to scan it.

Do you have to drain the fluids first? I'd think oil all over the garage or yard would be a mess.

    Yes it would ;)

He only had the frame mounted to the body. No drivetrain components were harmed in the making of this rotisserie.

My brothers are coming over in a few hours. I'll see if I can get one of them to bring thier scanner over.
