OK. I pulled the tranny (boy is it getting easier adn easier) I pulled the clutch off. Well I looked at the weights and pulled them off, really easy and nothing was damaged, and the pressure palte is now a regular plate. I measured the part of the weights that would hit the center spline hub. It is about .130 of an inch. Not as much as i thought. And the kicker is now, i looked at the center spline hub on the new stock mustang clutch disc, and there is no rubbing marks on the spline hub so the weights are not hitting the spline hub. so now i am stumped. I put both discs on a flat surface and looked for differneces. Well the Mustang disc is a little thicker in the surface area of the discs, just a tad. The center spline hub is shorter on the mustang disc. The hub is longer on the side that goes to the flywheel compared to the centerforce disc that protrudes more into the clutch pressure plate. So I am really stuck on what to do now. Since the centerforce weights are not hitting the new disc, then that is not a problem now. So i am wondering what to do. I can now take the weights off and grind on the centerfroce clutch hub and make it shorter and reassemble. Or probably get the stock 225 Pressure plate. But i am concerned bout buying anything righ tnow.
    Some things i will need...

    1. I need to find a stock 225 pressure plate so i can get measurements, so if you have one lets talk.

    2. Does anyone know the measurements of the Jeep T18 disc. I have read that it is the same spline and diamter as the ford one i am using, i am wondering if it is any differnt.

    What do you guys suggest.??

Right now i am skittish on even buying the stock 225 pressure plate, and then not have it work either. Maybe somebody has a good one for sale.

The Jeep T18 input shaft should be 1 1/8 - 10 spline. The Ford T18 input shaft should be 1 1/16 - 10 spline. Disc hubs should be correspondingly different.

    Thanks Lynn,
I will not bother trying to find a jeep disc to measure. I am wondering if the pressure palte i am using, the fingers do not stick out as much as others. This would reducethe leverage to enage the clutch
