Timing Chain Choice Amc 360

Hi Guy's i've been looking to replace my timing chain, since i dissemble the front cover i now have access to it and i find it to have too much play.

But i was looking over summit racing and they have 12 different kit. Seem that i have to buy the spocket along the chain. I just don't know anything about those product and i wanna make sure i'll buy the right one.

My engine is a 360.

Double roller chains last the longest.

 

I think the Cloyes double roller is the preferred one, but there is plenty about this topic on both ifsja.org and fsjnetwork.com

Probably been resolved by now, but there were some sets that had badly formed oil passages which starved the distributor gear. This was bad. Here's a whole bunch of threads about this issue on IFSJA - site:ifsja.org timng gear oil passages - Bing

 

Yes I'm going with the double roller.

I made sure my upper gear had a good oil passageway actually filed it smooth as it has a burr in the middle.
