If she'd truly be passing on the spirit of her father, I'm sure he'd like his parts to go to deserving folks who will put them to good use, not have his daughter try to start her retirement plan from them.

I bet that guy spent 25 grand on jeep garbage and maybe 15 or 20 years ago before the explosion of JK's... maybe, just maybe some people might have thought about this. The fact is that most of us are dumping the F heads, the clutch cross tubes and sure aren't running generators. I see some NOS stuff and also a lot of rusty junk.

If I were her, she has 2 choices. 1 open up an eBay shop or 2, sell it all for 2500. Might have trouble getting that too.

All this "treasure' is just a junkyard liability for someone else.

A few miles from me. What's the luck close to me and not even realistic on price.

I think $2500 is very generous for what I see in the photos. My guess this pile of stuff has been cherry picked by those giving this woman false hope as to the value. Some of those larger items like windshield frames and fenders look pretty rough and rusty. The seat frames and 24v generators look pretty nice but most of the rest have very little, if any value.
I wish her the best of luck, but think she's been misled as to the value of what she was left by daddy.

I have been slowly dealing with my Late Father's stuff ,This August he will be gone 10 years. It's hard to do with the emotions involved you want to honor their wishes and legacy but at the same time you have to be realistic junk is junk whether it was you Dad's or not mix in a few siblings and it can be a real treat of a time. There's not a day i walk into the garage & think about whether my father would approve of what i've done with the place- I have a nagging worry he'll come back from the dead & want everything back the way it was :(

I know how you feel. I dropped and broke one of my great-grandfather's folding rules the other day. I fixed it, but I know he, grandad or dad could easily tell. If one of them shows up, I'm in hot water!

I haven't written it down in a will yet but my instructions to my wife are to "Call Daryl and have him pick all this junk (including the Jeep) up." I don't want her to give it a second thought and if any kids want it they can buy it from Daryl lol!

He might hang up on her so second choice is the scrap man.
