heres what i have and some questions about what i need...
73 cj with the yellow brown purple superjeep paint scheme.
    304 original 3speed etc...
question is: is it possible 'cause i thought they came with the v6???
according the the vin the color is indeed daisy yellow and i couldn't find any numbers indicating other???
also i am looking for an nos (or oem in perfect condition) driver side fender because i hit something with the snowplow (now removed) and it tore the old one away from the body (as well as bent the frame a little).
i.ve had this thing for about 10 ro 12 years now and its bone stock and cream puff (except for the previous fender tweek i pulled...oooops!)
also looking for NOS wiper bottle and pump??? mine has the AMC molded into it but when i went to remove it from the fender it turned to dust. it was 31 years old so... please PM me if you have the secret stash cause the omixada taiwan crap gave me the creeps...
    thanks in advance
    nim

Mmm, I thought that the SuperJeep package came out in '73 or '74 ... all I've heard of had the inline 6 (258), not the V6. Last year of V6 availability was 1971.

Scotty's in Fontana CA has lots of sheet metal http://www.scottysjeepand4x4.com/ and maybe has the bottle/pump. Also try J&W in Antelope http://jwjeep.com

You might also try Collins Bros. Sorry but don't have their address or # here, but I know they advertise in all the rags and have lots of NOS parts.
I always thought that the V-8 was part of what made the SuperJeep the SuperJeep? I've only seen two in person and both had the V-8. Maybe an option? Nickmil.

I'm really stretching my memory about this, but I recall that the one I saw on the lot was a 258, and the package did not specify the engine. This separated them from the Renegades (BC sold a lot of them) which all came with a 304. Lots of options were available at that time, so it would not surprise me that the SuperJeep package was more often ordered with the 304 than not. At BCs though, the Renegade was prominantly featured, so a 304 SuperJeep may never have been ordered.

thanks for all of the responses.
did i say v6? yeah i meant inline.
it is good to know that some did come with the v8 option...which leads me to believe mine is real...and optioned out.
i would like to restore it to original. i am putting too much time and money into my XJ and my '74 cherokee chief and i think the cj is feling a but abandoned...
anyways thanks for all of the great links and info. hopefully yall will get to see me on the trails soon (in oregon at least).
    Nim
p.s. not no purple or brown...orange and white...don't know what i was thinking about when i wrote that...wishful thinking i guess.
