Does anybody have images drawings of photos of the routing for the exhaust pipes for the stock v6 OF on a 69 cj5?

need to replace my muffler and I decided to update the rest from the y pipe on back.

Currently my pipe goes under the trans-xfer mount then back up. I'm uneasy about it being so low (lower than my xfer skid plate. Seems to me that it might have been up above the cross support/mount of the xfer/trans? I just want to see how they deal with the heat regarding the trans, hose, and clutch linkage.

This is for the single tail pipe out the passenger side rear.

    As always, thx.

looks like it is considered an early model. but I like the late model version since it allows a rear fuel tank.

Thanks Mike. The images for that section are fairly unreadable in my copy of the FSM.

Thanks, great pictures! How loud is the flowmaster extreme? I find I prefer a relatively quiet exhaust esp when I'm in the back country. I like to keep the trails as quiet as possible even if I'm driving.

Nope, you got it right. Flowmaster Extreme muffler. The case is 3/16" diamond plate steel.

Not loud at all, has a good rumble to it. My wife and I converse at normal levels at speed.:v6:
