steel top door handles

    i got a steel top with broken outside door handles.can someone tell me how to repair,replace? i tried camper t handles but screw hole centers were 1 1/2 centers i need 1 3/4 centers with 5/16 square spindle.any good ideas?

    A place that sells service truck type bodies should have them. That's where I got mine, you can get them keyed alike.

    I used the replacement garage door handles that you buy at Lowes or Home Depot on one of mine one time. Can't remember if they have 1/4 or 5/16 square stock shafts on them.

    i found some identical to original at a truck body place called mill supply 2 brand new under 20 bux thanx for replys new is better when you can go that route without spending a fortune.

    got new handles on my top from orr and orr supply in Chicago. ran about $35 for inner (galvinized) latches and outer (chrome) handles.
