I found some engine ID #s tonight.
    1st on a 134 out of a m38a1 (?) RMD7749.
2nd on the f-head in my 5, may help unravel some of the mystery.
    MD19323.
    Any help here?
I had a website with Jeep engine #s but cant find it now.
    Thanks

M38A1 is the MD series, so I would assume the MD on your parts represents that. Is that what you're asking?

Sounds like you have to switch engines.

Just trying to figure out what year our 5 is still.
The other is just a engine I got with a load of m38a1 parts and was interested what possible year it was.
I guess the search goes on for true ID of Bam Bam..
Next step clean the frame and see if I can find a # there.
    Thanks.
