snorkel cutout

    hello has anyone removed a snorkel cutout on the hood ? i would think it is held in place with spot welds but i can' :mad: t see them and i don'T WANT TO MESS this up thanks///art

    I've removed two - one was spot welded, one (military hood) had screws.

    My '57 has spot welds. You have to get right up in it to see where they're at. A strong light at a low angle might help make them visible. Also, a mirror may help you to see the ones "on top" nearer the crown of the hood.

    Mine is welded and bolted. Have a feeling PO done one or the other.
