The physical shape looks like my 65. I'll search for a photo. My back seat didn't match the front. I'm confident it was slightly newer than 65.

I currently ordered material for mine to be redone from SMS auto. Side note, they are much much better then they were a couple of years ago. Several years ago i tried getting fabric for my 66 Coronet and it was like pulling teeth. Now it took them only a week to ship the stuff and they sent me samples so I knew i was gettign the right stuff.
Anyway, here is what i am dealing with. I just need to find a decent upholsterer, all the qoutes I have gotten are north of 500 per seat so far. The guy that did my Coronet a few years ago wants 1500 for both seats. Its a little too rich for my blood.

First sample was wrong, but it was nice to get these samples. They did have the right stuff, was able to get 1.5 yards which should be enough to do both front seats. The black final is pretty generic and can be gotten anywhere.

Passenger side is OK, but the driver is blown out on both sides and falling apart fast.

I have contemplated just getting the bottoms redone

I think the rear seat bracket is a Intermediate. Early was made out of tubing, intermediate was flat stock.

Not to hijack this thread, but the upholstery I am wanting is the thin black and white vertical stripes in 1947cj2a post. If you have a product name or number can you please post it. I think others may be interested also. Thanks

I got it from SMS auto fabrics out of Oregon. I cant really give you the part number because they dont really have. You can go on their web page and put in make model year and they will send you a sample in about a week.

Thats what they sent me. the first one was wrong so i sent them another email and they sent me the bottom.
I only got sample "C" as the black vinyl is really generic.

Also I just sent them to Jeepster Guru. I am only doing the fronts, the rear is in great shape, so I ordered 1.5 yards. I think the min order is 2/3 of a yard, but would double check.
    Hope that helps.
