If you go to LED's, you might have a flasher issue. I fought my bulb install, could not get them to work.. Gave up. Search the forum for info.

My Jeep is of course a 69. The Walcks lights are up to 69. My front marker lights are the larger 70+ 3 screw round bezel. These are not cut in, clearly the grille came that way.
Is it possible that my Jeep came factory with the older lights in the rear and newer lights on the front?
I’m not finding a stock replacement light for a 70-75 anywhere.

This may be right for some Jeeps, but it's not right for our Jeeps. It's the right lens, bucket size and shape. The wiring is wrong - our lights wiring goes through the center back. Maybe it's correct for the Gladiator trucks that have this light embedded in the body.

A '69 should have the "last round taillight" shown here: Jeep Taillights on CJ3B.info This light was used through 1975. Note the left and right are different, with the left having a clear window to light the license plate.

    Good ones are very scarce.

Has anyone looked at the 4 in 1 rear tail lights? Running lights, turn signal lights, brake lights, and back up lights in one LED light...

I bought a pair from E trailer recently. They are recessed though. Not the look we're talking about here, but I'm re- doing my back corners and am OK with that. They might have similar external lights.

And they are sold as a pair for that price. Both look pretty good.

I bought a pair of these LED bulbs at FLAPS. The locating pins on each side crush back into the bulb body and no longer locate.
The cylinder is very thin. IMG_20190120_115334656.jpg

Thanks guys, I'm going to go with the Philippine lights off ebay. For $36 a pair, I can always throw them on a trailer if I don't like them. I will post a pic to this thread when they come in.

the boys jeep has these, the wiring at the socket is a little cheesy, we used a generic pigtail from the flaps to replace the disappearing contacts in the socket.

Thanks Tim, that article explains it all, I am lookin for a single Stimsonite 701, held in by a snap ring. My friend has a mint Tuxedo Park, and needs one lens. Someone made one out of red Plexiglas at some point, I would like to find one for him. Thanks for posting that article.

I am thinking my experimentation with LED bulbs is over. The ones from the FLAPS had very thin bodies which dented then turning into place. I soldered some hew nubs on one would work and another never did. I then got a couple of expensive Sylvania ones. They had a shoulder that prevented full insertion which prevented turning to lock in place. But only on one of my Hall 701s.
    I took that pair back
