Rocky Road Outfitters Shock Mounts

    59A88E35-A5ED-43AB-8528-028D18DDB3C7.jpeg Anyone use these before? They tout the advantages over the ford mounts and are only $20 more expensive. I’m only on a 2.5 lift are these going to be too high up?

    I have them on my CJ w YJ springs. ProComp 2.5” lift. I really like them. Don’t think the stock shocks could give near enough travel for my setup.
    Don’t weld them on until very last. Use rear shock mounts.
    I have no idea if there is advantage over any other mounts.

    The spring plates from RR have two shock mounts. One in front of the axle, one behind.

    Just get a pair of CJ front shock mounts. They bolt on as well...

    I’ve got those rr mounts sitting on my workbench right now. Do you have any pictures of how you have it installed? Did you have to cut up your fender well?

    Sloppy welds on mine. I recently had to cut off the top and flipped it so I could use the rear mount. Gave more clearance for my new fat shocks.

    If you're worried about shocks you can measure for them.

    I ordered them up so they’ll be here sometime next week I believe, we’ll see how they work(y)
