    That shield thing, I mean...... Hey, while we're at it, what's that loose wire go to? Heh-heh. Can't wait to get into wiring issues; it's gonna be a real hoot!

    The shield should have been on the same side that had your valve cover oil fill hole . In fact it should be what you see when you pour oil in.

    Yup. It is and I would. Now we're moving on to bearing issues. Ain't it great how JEEP education doesn't work at all like how school worked? Start here and progress as we go. JEEP? Start here, and hurry up.

    The difference is that we want to learn about jeeps. Most of us went to school because we had to.

    Yup. Mum was a teacher. I didn't miss much school, believe me! I just wasn't in a big hurry to get all this JEEP wisdom at once. Kinda thought we could go play this Spring. Well, we can, but we'll play doctor instead of something more fun............
