Hey Focker are we ever going to be done working on these jeeps? Seems like I just finish one and then I start a new project.

I built this one. It was a 1978 cj5 4spd with a straight six. I added fuel injection, ARB front and rear, tera gears in the transfer case 427 gears. New paint tires and wheels.

Well this project is finally getting close to finishing. Should be driving it this spring. Still need to install a heater; roll bar; front bumper and rear drawbar decal graphics; fabricate tranny tunnel cover and install new top. I have to give WYOMIKE credit for giving me the idea on redoing the seats.

Looks great! Apparently mine was that color when new. Traces of it still come through in spots.

    Looks SO good.

What's the big red button on the dash?

Focker that is a Vernier Throttle Cable. We used them on fire engines to set the throttle on the fire pumps. Very dependable. I had put it in the dash where the cigarette lighter went because it was a hole that was the same size I needed. However I took it out and put the lighter back in it's place. It crowded the ignition switch a bit.

How do you like the heater. It seams to blow a lot of air.

This is the connection of the heater control valve. You have the option to have just defroster or just heater or both heater and defroster at the same time. It also controls the temp of the heat into the cab.
