Renegade II paint code 999/special order #

The Ren 2 paint option 999 indicates special paint. Back in the day if you wanted to color match the original paint you would need to contact the national parts distribution center and supply them with the code off your Jeeps’ special sales order plate.

My special sales order code is D-5199. I’m hoping someone may have a parts book that lists the correct color/code, (Jim & Tim)??

Before I call in a friend from Dupont to take a pic and color match I thought I would give this a shot. Thanks

 

If your looking to repaint the renegade just go to autocolorlibrary.com. I'm repainting my renegade mint green which is the actual color name for the green paint code 999.

 

that info would have been sent out in Service Bulletin form.
green or blue colored 8 x 11 sheets, titled TSB or similar
you'll need to find the correct Service Bulletin with the year, make, model of what you're looking for.
unfortunatley, we didn't keep any of our Service Bulletins books......

Sorry Chuck, I don't have anything that goes back before 1974.

Autocolorlibrary.com does not show a 1971 sheet. If the '72 color is the same as '71, aka Riverside Orange, they have a PPG code for that, 2114.
