I am looking for the PTO shaft, carrier bearing mount and joints for my ‘67 CJ5. I purchased a Ramsey shaft drive winch and PTO, but don’t have the shaft or fittings. Please help!

They can be assembled from generic industrial parts if necessary. Grainger, or Surplus Center come to mind.

What diameter is your output shaft on the pto and Input shaft on the winch? What length shaft do you need? I have tons of that stuff but no idea what it came from or what it fits.

Both output shaft diameters are 3/4”. Shaft length I would estimate between 4-5’. Did they use a carrier bearing and bracket mounted to the frame at all?

Most likely a two-piece shaft with a center bearing at the bell-housing and a mid-line UJ.

This picture is of a Koenig unit. The center bearing properly should be on the short shaft.

Figured you'd see that. Your photo credit too.

They are now happily installed in my '56. (y)

PM’d you tonight with my e-mail address. I’m not on here much any more so that is the best way to contact me. Right now I’m working 11-12 hour days but will get back to you as soon as possible. I need to know General shaft lengths within a couple inches. I’ll check tomorrow On the yokes.

Does anyone have measurements for this? I haven’t installed my Ramsey PTO and Warn OD yet. Shaft length from PTO mounted to OD, (T86, D18) to the carrier bearing and forward to a Ramsey winch? I know there is a short extension (according to Herm) for the extended portion for mounting the PTO off the back of the OD.

Finally had a chance to dig through two milk crates of joints. Sorry but all my remaining are 7/8” and larger shaft diameter.
