Thanks, Ryan. It's really quite a bit more green than it looks. Maybe a pic taken in the Sun will be better. I had to lighten the pics a lot since my flash doesn't really do that well in my warehouse. Lots of shadows. I guess when I lighten the pics they loose color.

    Hey John,
    Looking good!
BTW I am heading to Rubicon this weekend, Sat AM thru Mon. Going in Cadillac, staying at a house near Dollar Point (?) Will you have it ready to go by then? Ha Ha!

Hey Jeff, I'll be ready, but the Heep, not so much. Are you going to the Springs? Going up Big Sluice? Have fun. Be ready for some cool nights.

I'm glad you didn't "Comp Cut" the rear wheel wells. IMHO it looks terrible. Tastefully increasing its capability, i like it.

Thanks, 73cj5. I didn't think I was going to have room without the comp cut. But after reading an article in JP that showed a rig with my wheelbase and 35's without the comp cut I decided to give it a try. I actually saw a TJ in Reno last week that was comp cut, stock wheelbase and running 33's. Looked ridiculous. Save that stuff for the tube buggies.

...comp cut, not stretched, and running 33's? Were they all terrains?

Heading in Sat early afternoon, heading to Buck Island. Supposed to be with 3 full size rigs, one running 33's and open diffs....may be a long day! I am going to bring all my stuff with me just in case. The plan is to head down Sat AM and out that night. I am not much for night wheeling and will plan to stay at the Springs if it gets too late. Extra clothes, blankets (wool) and food! (Alcohol too).

    Hey John,
    Sorry for the hijack!
So far I am very happy with the KM2's. They have a better sidewall grip than my old style Mud TA's and have held up really well, so far. I got a great price on them at Costco and then went shopping locally for a price match and no wait.

Finished the paint yesterday and put the corners on. Today I got the engine off the stand and back in the frame. Bolted up the flywheel (man that things heavy), clutch disc and cover and the bell housing. Tomorrow I'm gonna grunt the T18 and t-case together.

Looking good. Really liking those corners each time I see them. I get to "grunt" my trans and tcase up and into the jeep this coming weekend. Not looking forward to the install process.

Hey John your jeep is looking great. Can't wait to see the finished product. When are you shooting to have it finished?

Thanks for the link, krkz93, but I'm so far from any kind of stock electrical that very little applies to my rig. Awesome diagrams though. The easiest to read I've seen.

Thanks Ryan. I'm hoping to beat Thompology's date of Nov. 10th Ha! Ha!
