I think you should make the Rubicon trip your final run with it....I would love my cj to be as sweet and capable as yours and guessing I could never build it into such a rig, especially at your asking price. Seems like a great buy.

How much can a guy get for a kidney?!?!?

Definitely one of my favorite jeeps. I'm sad you're quitting for something new, even though your new jeep is pretty cool too.

After 30 years in the flooring trade my left knee has had enough of clutch pedals. That said, I do have a TH 350 with the adapter on it to a Model 18/20 that I'm going to offer with the Jeep for another $250.

It's not easy parting with the old boy. I've had it for about 25 years. Lots of memories, but it has future memories for a new owner. I can't just let him sit.

I knew this was coming but still hard to see. Good luck John, like others have stated a true class "A" rig. I may be joining you soon but know mine isn't worth near that much.

I do have to say...I really enjoy driving the TJ with the automatic. It makes 'wheeling so much easier.

Sounds and looks like an awesome Jeep. If I had the extra mulla, I'd own it. Sorry to see you parts ways with it.

Sad to see you getting out you have worked so hard. What a Jeep though. All you guys who are good at these old jeeps can’t quit just yet there’s still a few of us who still want to keep these things but haven’t learned enough yet..
hope you find him a good home.

40 something years of carpentry work, kneeing on concrete, I know what you mean. Good luck on selling your Jeep. Your build thread has given other people ideas on what to do. Let it go and use the money for other things or your new ride.

My knees is why I like bicycle riding
