Pinion Yoke?

Will a D30 pinion yoke fit a D27 housing?

Background: want to upgrade '67 CJ5 with v6 from 1100 series ujoint in front to 1310. My pinion gear has 26 splines not 10. Can't find 26 spline by application for D27. Found some information to suggest that D25, 27, 30 and 44 all interchange. Trying to confirm. Thanks!

The 27 is an oddball with a different depth.
Scout 800 and 80 with the 27 is a good source for that yoke that accepts the 1310 u-joint.

 

Uh-oh. Not sure what I sent along to the guy who is setting up my gears. Might have sent a 44 yoke. Anyone get a measurement on the 27 yoke....overall length?

Yes, it just arrived yesterday and is dimensionally correct replacement for the smaller yoke.
