I seem to recall seeing a post about this before, so I haven't got much room to complain, I suppose. Before working on the brakes, I decided to fix the pedal wobble. Ordered bracket, tube, and pedal arm; got them today. They don't fit together; too tight. Much better than so loose that they are no improvement I know, but still, ..........

After I get rid of any burrs and goobers, I'd guess I would be better off reaming the bracket and pedal rather than trying to bring the tube down to fit.

Any suggestions on how to clean this up? It shouldn't take much, so I'm thinking I could use a hone of some sort. Any advice?

I would try a hone for a wheel cylinder and see how it goes.

Yessir, Mr Sparks! That was a part of my search also. But there was also a post about the fitment of OMIX-ADA parts, which was the gist of my whine. I had forgotten about the wisdom of asking the vendor to prefit the parts, if that were even possible. No matter now; I bought a brake cylinder hone, and got after it. As I said in my earlier post, I'm glad it was a tight fit rather than something sloppy.

I was able to clean up the bores on the bracket and the pedal arm. I also chased the threads on the grease fittings for each. I have no idea what the clearances should be; I just went with what felt tight enough, without being snug enough to move the brake when I push in the clutch. Guess we'll see about that.

Don't know why, but I did wear the "back" side of the stones by the time I was satisfied with the fit. Somehow, I wasn't as even in my process as I would have thought. If I wasn't sucessful in my endeavor, you'll know it here. Eventually.
