Since I have no room left to put the pic with this post I am going to post a link to the pic. Is this bracket correct?

I wondered why it sat a little higher than the driver's seat. I have seen some pivot brackets that appeared to mount to the floor. Like these

Kevin: The one's that you have are the same as my '68. The hook type on Ebay are the older ones.

Your pass seat might not be high, your drivers seat might be low. They made spacers to put on the seat frame (a piece of tube) for adjustment.

OK. I guess that makes sense since my tub is from a '65 (or '69 now). I guess it depends on what day, month, hour it is when I talk to the PO. Just a little resentment on not knowing the tub's actual year. Sorry, I digress yet again!! ;)

When did they make the switch to these pivot points like I have as opposed to the bracket that mounts to the floor? Maybe I can figure the year out this way

My '64 had the little 2-pc brackets.

My '66 had the floor mount deal.

The driver's side might have had the risers or sliders removed to get a better viewing angle for the driver. I did both.

My 67 has the separate little floor brackets. It has the 60/40 seats also, maybe that has something to do with it? Maybe bucket type seats used the big one piece bracket. BTW, I do have the hole in the edge of the tub for the bigger one piece bracket.

The drivers side appears to be missing the slider assy which would account for the height difference.

I might have to look into mounting the smaller pivot mounts to the floorboard instead. I imagine I would have to add a little support underneath.
