I run micro lock on the front axle and 11” drums with e brake cables mated to a forklift e brake handle.

Is a yoke available like that so I could get rid of the Brake yoke parts?
I would love a longer drive shaft. As it is now I need to shorten the shaft by about an inch.

I think using the regular yoke like in my picture would gain you a little bit of driveshaft length.

Aren’t the splines different from a axle yoke?

Older 44 pinions have the same 10-spline shaft as the transfer case output, but I think the shield and felt area is different. A front output flange from a 4 cyl D18 transfer case should work. 6cyls have the small front U-joints so you don't want the front output from one of those.

It looks like Walcks sells what you need: Yolk Dana 18 Transfer Case Front or Rear (Without Transfer C

I might have one for the cost of shipping. I’ll check in the am.

Edit: I’ll check the seal surface. It might pay you to buy a new one.

It’s dirty, the dust seal is mangled, and the seal surface has .002” of wear. Still want it?

Hang on. Let me pull one off a D18 to compare. This might be off a D41.

Ok, now I’ve got the right one. This sealing surface looks flatter, but it has some imperfections (that shouldn’t affect the seal).

The tcase in my picture above is from either a Willys pickup or a Scout (I don't remember which). The rear yoke from one of those should work.

For the record, I took all the measurements, and the D41/early D44 yoke will work. The only differences between that and the 4-cyl D18 front output yoke are the dust shield is smaller on the D41/44, and the splines on the front output yoke don’t extend all the way to the end, internally.

Front D18 output left, D41 right.

I can’t find a reason for the splines to not go all the way to the end. I checked the companion flange on the rear output, and they are full-extension. Both output shafts have splines that are cut beyond the face of the bearing, so it’s not for spline clearance, unless it’s a holdover from a previous machining process.
