    Believe me, if I had a :v6:, that would go in my 64 CJ5, just to get rid of that gas hog of a 351 Windsor.

    The very reason for doing it. It's certianly not for the horsepower.

    flathead 4 cylinder = 60hp
    flathead V8 engine = 90hp

    It's the torque, fellas, it's the torque ;)

    If you put your feelings aside,:D you gotta admit that motor would make a good anchor, if you could ever get it outta the boat.R)

    Not a chance. I'm a small engine mechanic by trade, so it's like having 8 Briggs engines all put together in one package. I foresee no major problems with this engine, once it's in and running

    .....and it's got a magneto instead of points and condensor type distributor, and thats right down my alley as well :D
