Is there anyway to take the oil bath filter apart to clean it? It looks like one piece. I picked an extra one up off ebay, and it looks like the previous owner used hay instead of oil as the filtering mechanism. The screen is full of chaff, can the screen be taken out? I've never had one so full of crap before. :hurrican:

    Duke,

If he doesn't want it, I'll take it. I'm tired of looking at that little chrome air cleaner :D

Let me know, or PM or e-mail
    Thanks, Rit

Maybe rats or mice built a home in it? Shouldn't get any stuff in it.

Remove lower pan, unbolt assembly off the firewall, and take it to a parts washer or a high pressure sprayer to clean it . I do that once every year.
