Cool deal, I like the dash idea (allowing for more leg room)

Did you do it all yourself? Did you use 2" tubing?

I ask cause I'm jealous, I need to do one in my CJ6 now but keep running into troubles.

    Mine at Panamint!

It's a side hobby that I use to support the Jeep habit.

    I currently bend 1", 1-3/4", and 2".

Yep, exactly! Got a connection to do another one? I'm in the market and I believe we're not far away.

Wow! I really, really like the design. Will a soft top still fit?

Looks real good. You just do the bending on the side - or all of it?

Hey, that looks awesome. The dash idea is awesome. I always wanted to do that. It makes a lot more sense then having a big pole in the doorway that always seems to block the glove box of most Jeeps.

    Slick rollcage....

Yes, I do a complete install, but I PREFER the owners help and eyes while I work. That way we're both happy with the install.

The top still fits, and I prefer to build the tube system to your needs, and to fit directly to what a equipment you have.

Yup, stock enough to do about 6 rigs, although I only do one to two a month.

If you care to, contact me directly at sperkio@pacbell.net

Opps, must have been tired. I updated my e mail address!!!

    Perk,
I tried to email but it got bounced back.
I admire the fact that you don’t mind help or extra eyes on these projects, I know some people can’t work with eyes over the shoulders going on. I’d love to do it myself but no equipment to do it. I’m capable of handling fab projects so I wouldn’t be a burden on the project. I can’t imagine more tubes then you have on your 6 but I’d like a few small things for my application. Give me a ball park for what you would charge for a CJ6 cage. I’m in Lake Elsinore and the Jeep is just a shell on a rolling chassis but can easily be trailered. I’ve been waiting for my buddy to help out but I think over a year is a bit long to wait plus I need to get moving on this one.

Looks way cool! The front down tube idea is interesting. I have allways wanted to modify mine so that the legs are straight and just follow the line of the windshield down through the dash to the floor. The dash would be cut out to fit around the tubes. Simple, clean and out of the way. Plus the dash could be removed without pulling the cage.

    Anyhow looks awesome!

    Perk,
Great job on the 6 cage! It looks awesome and functional. I finally got mine done, as I was speaking to you last about doing mine a buddy finally came through with some favors he owed me and got it done. Now I just need to fix the rest. You know, all of the little things.

    Perkio,

would like to see what your cage looks like but my computer cannot find your website. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if it is something else.
