Need Exhaust

    Recently purchased 70 commando, 225 v6. The exhaust is gone. Is there a source for original y pipe? Also did all the commandos with the v6 have the drivers side exhaust manifold that dumped to the front? Or did some have drivers side rear dump. If so what year?.....

    The front dump is for the ross steering on the firewall.
    A rear dump from a 231 will work if you switch to saginaw steering.

    Unless you were to find an NOS one no Y pipes available. A good muffler place could maybe make one. I would take it yours has the front dump?
    Not sure if it was early or mid 70 model year they started using Saginaw and the rear dump manifold but they didn't use them for long which is why original rear dump manifolds are hard to come by used. My convertible is an early 70 with Ross.
