making my 5 a 6

    I have both - plasma gets 90% of the work now. The real things I use the torch for now days is bending, cutting the few items over 1/2", and scarfing. You can scarf with a plasma, it is not as clean and really uses up the consumables.

    thinking of boxing the frame last so I get all my blind bolts or nuts where I want them.ive been super happy with how my PS setup has worked and going to really spend some time on cutting it out of the old frame .it will save me lots of r&d later
    going to the off road show in pomona tomorrow to get front bumper ideas .

    dang guys I was hoping for a thanksgiving run in Havasu with my buddys but work has me dam busy .so far it's only been weekends .

    I will say there is no turning back now , cut everything off.about 4 bls of slag and grindings today .

    Don't know about alum for a front bumper. I was trying to add weight to the front on mine. I kinda like the Poison Spyder one though.

    picked up an 225 buick/ford trans/scout tc picker tonight ,
    ,,it's gunna lift something very,very heavy this weekend .
