The small one is to tie the W/S frame down with a strap. There's a footman inside the top of the frame that matches, at least in original form.

I havnt decided where im going to mount the radio yet. I was thinking id make a skinny console between the seats but now im thinking maby just under the dash would be ok. Ill probrobly wait till everything else is done and see where looks best. id like to get a second speaker somewhere too. posibly under the pasenger seat. or i might put some pods in the back corners on the wheelwells. thats all up in the air

Oh i forgot. Yesterday i got a yj back seat from the junk yard im going to use it in the jeep exept its gray. I think ill try to look black vinal for it or else i might just spray paint it with vinal/fabric paint. Im only going to use the seat once in a while anyway and i hear if you prep the seat right it works pretty good. I dont like the gigantic brackets they use in the middle of the floor though so im going to make my own base bolted to the seat and seat belts to that. That way i can just use the side brackets and the whole thing will come out as a unit. Should work pretty good

Got the mini done and got the frame generaly built for the back seat. Iv started working on the top got the sides and back off to make it easier to work on. got the whole top sanded and primed. Also i made two bars for a roof rack should look good and clean. I flipped it over and started working on the bottom side. Theres alot of surface rust but im putting a headliner in anyway so i just gotta get it kinda clean and ill just undercoat it. Also i got the big dent out of the rear corner. looks like iv got to replace the sheetmetal that goes from the top down back to the windsheild its very rusted to the point it will be easier just to cut it out and make a new panel. Also ill have to repair the side panels where they atatch to the tub are pretty rusted. Pics soon

The top needs another coat and clear but you get the idea. Also iv got racks to bolt on that why the holes in the 4 corners. I started work on one side it should go pretty smoothly iv alreay made the new lower channel just gotta clean up the panel better and weld it on. Once the sides are done ill bolt my racks on and put the headliner in then bolt the sides on and put the top on. then ill fix up the rear and side door and put the interior together. I should have some time off from work in the next couple weeks so i might get somthing done
