Does anyone know of a source for lettering that could be put on a speedo (fuel and temp), or a heater control?

Got a couple of nice items, but need to put lettering on the heater control once it is repainted..

I'm assuming that there is a decal or press on product???????

    thanks

There was just a thread about this a week or two ago....I think it was kiowamtp, wanting to do the same thing. I know there's a place here in Denver that rebuilds/restores old speedos.

I am buying Datak dry transfer letters from a place in the Springs. They sell a spray to apply on top as well. I have found that the 12 point letters look about right. Also, the only place I can find them locally are at electronic repair places. They use that bitty stuff on circuit boards, old face plates, etc. Here is a place on line if you decide to go that route and can not find anyone locally.

Also, a good write-up for a comparable task.

Good luck. I will post pics when mine is done.
