JEEP sticker?

The Jeep letters on my jeep and I am quite sure that I have the factory letters are stenciled and strayed on. Complete with over spray.

I would be glad to tag up with you and we could trace mine and cut a stencil if you want.

 

hey hey.. i've been waiting on this for a while. i'll take enough for one jeep in black.

 

Ok, here is the deal. I will wait till Friday to do anything so anyone who wants a set has time to respond. Then I will get a quote based on demand. I called today and there are no real price break points, it just gets cheaper as the quantity goes up (the prices are based on the quantity per color) Based on what I see it looks like the price will be ~ 15 per set. I will not consider it an order from everyone until I get the actual price, then you can make up your mind. Remember, I am doing this at cost, so make sure you want them before you request it.

 

Don't want to take any orders away from 60CJ5, but the body shop at the Jeep dealer I worked at would routinely paint those letters with a roller. The body and paint man would do them free hand. I'd think with a little practice and a foam roller, you could paint the raised letters. Some cardboard shims and tape might help to guide the roller.

 

Even at $15 for the JEEP stickers not bad. The Jeep stickers are $10 in the cats + shipping. Which would put it at ~15.

Maybe that is how mine are done. There are no blank spaces in the letters that you would associate with a stencil. The letter's edges are neat but a little fuzzy.

 

Here is the quote:

1 set $ 20.50
3 sets $ 15.50
5 sets $ 13.50

These are per color. ie if the demand is 1 set of white and 3 sets of black the white decals are 20.50 and the black are 15.50.

Postage is included. Send me a PM if you want a set and I will reply next weekend with what the actual price is based on demand. Make sure you want a set and keep in mind that the high end on pricing is 20.50. There is a good number of other colors available if anyone wants something that is not white or black. there is even a "Chromeish" available but the pricing might be a little different

Please remember that there is no profit built into these prices so if you request one and decide later that you don't want it, I will end up loosing money.

 

If you are going to do this, I will buy one set of white, and one set of black. and if you find any other takers you can count me in for a set of grey

 

I sent PM with payment info to the people who requested decals. If you did not get a PM and want a decal then send me a PM ASAP so I can get you the payment info.

Here is the “final” pricing. Based on demand:
Black 13.30 per set
White 15.50 per set
Gray / Other 20.50 per set



Please send your payment as soon as possible so it will not hold up others from getting their decals as I will not order them until I have all the payments in. It normally takes 1-2 days for the shop to fill the order and I will mail them as soon as I get them.

 

I have only received 2 checks so far. :evil: I'm going to wait a few more days (Next Monday) before I place the order. After that the decals will be $20.50 each, if I have more made, as I will end up loosing some money on the original order due to lower demand than was requested, [You know who you are ]. Really wanting to rant here but refraining!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

 

mine's on the way if you haven't recieved it yet. i sent it out friday after class so it should show up the next day or two. again, i apologize to anyone if i'm the one slowing things up.

Ordered the Decals yesterday. they will be ready early next week and I will mail them ASAP. Sorry for the delay, I just wanted to make sure I had everybodys $$.

Mandery, Sorry I didn't check in on this thread b4 I ordered so I missed your post PM me if you are still interested.

I know 20.50 is seems high for decals but it is my cost. Also, the spacing on the decal layout is correct so I could send the background for people who want to use it as a template for painting the letters. That is my plan for the next jeep in 2020.

I also recommend puting the letters on one at a time and have them on the high side if they are not centered. I just think it looks better that way when you are looking down on it. For those of you who have a habit of parking your Jeep on its top (no names mentioned ) you might want them low.
