I'm not sure what's going on with the front suspension but the rest looks pretty good.

As long as all that work was done even half way right that seems like a good deal. Rust buckets and total basket cases go for 3 grand anymore if they have titles

Either he was in the process of switching over to coils with Land Rover radius arms, or that is some sort of traction bar. Either way, they will seriously inhibit the turning radius.

Those aren't Land Rover arms, but similar. I have no idea how they were setting that up as the leafs are still there.
Either way, thats still a good start of a project.

I hadn't looked at Four Wheeler in some time. I see titles like this, and I don't want to go back: Classic Willys: 1966 CJ-5 Tuxedo Park

Small detail - calling a '66 a Willys, but they should know better.

Interesting; clones are a nice trip down the rabbit hole for sure though. Takes “special” people to follow through with the seemingly best thing they’ve ever seen. Not for the faint of heart.

This Tux isn't bad being "called" a Willys by the writer. A few weeks back there was a Tux on eBay, previously built by a pro shop as a TV give-away, and it had a reproduction black Willys serial tag that was obviously hand stamped. Not only was that inaccurate, its illegal!

This was actually in JP Magazine, they really should know better. I read this article in JP and thought the same thing, that isn’t a Willys! I subscribe to JP and 4Wheel and Off-road but I’m letting my Four-Wheeler sub run out...not my favorite.
