How to restore aluminum tags????

    Well, the wheel cleaner didn't do the job. It also did not hurt the paint on the test tag. I will that I don't believe these modern wheel cleaner formulas are as potent, or caustic, as the stuff from say, the 80's or 90's.

    I think I will have the tag reproduced if I can find someone to do the job. Seems like the most sensible option.
