ok so today i got a little energy up so i decided to do a first fitting of my PS box. well i figured out that in order to fit the box im going to need taller hard lines by about 2 inches. where can i have these made or can i have these made? the problem is that they run right into my crossmember.

other quick off topic question. what thickness of steel do you use to box the front part of the frame?

edit: mods if this needs to be in fabricators forum feel free to send it there. forgot it existed.

I use 3/16" material to box the frame when I make the kits.

No just use 1/8", I started using 3/16" because I don't pay much for it, a friend of mine lets me have scrap from there shop for about $5 for 4-6 pieces about 4" x 10".
Besides what kind of welder do you have?

I've used 3/16 and 1/4 to box the frame and 1/4 ,3/8 and 5/16 for the steering box mount . Have kinda settled on 5/16 with gussetts for steering box mount. Have my hoses made up at a local shop that does hydraulic hoses. But that's just me.

the mount is done. i have that dig daddy offroad mount. my one problem with the mount besides a little too thick of powdercoating filling in the holes is that it places the line right into my crossmember.

You'll do just fine with 1/8" for boxing the frame. Thicker is always better, but minimum 1/8.

Any shop that makes hydraulic lines can help you with the steering lines ;)
