The 6 made it to it's new home. Actually, got to Moab!
Tucked in for now.
(Jeep Acquisition Disorder) There is no cure, just humor the patient.
You should be ashamed of yourself. As your punishment, immediately send the 6 to my garage, which is not very far south of you, and forget you ever saw it. And don't think I missed that trailer sitting there. Bring it too. Trust me, we will cure this hideous ailment.
A garage with more jeeps than can fit in the picture. I like that. Jeeps are like potato chips,
one leads to another.
I like that.
Had a little time to crawl around the 6 yesterday....it is solid! Body and frame look great, floor board is surface rust only.
Did find this jewel on the dash...
Wow nice find!
I'm pretty sure my dad's M38 was on that run in 86 as well!
Took a few pictures of the underside....like I said pretty darn clean. I would like to thank all of those who were complained about his blurry pictures, left the door open for me to get this gem!
Pulled "Stretch" out of hibernation today, started up after just a few cranks! Taking stock on what it needs done to it.
I got the beast of a bumper off, it has to weight 125-150lbs!
That's a LOT of iron in that bumper! Do you have something different planned?
Going to see how the bumper on my 71 fits, then go from there.
I may also, retro fit a jk bumper.....
Toying around different frame colors.
Very nice, what are your plans with it? You spoke about MOAB so are building a rock crawler or just a capable off road rig?
Capable off road, it will get back to the Rubicon and Fordyce in the next two years, is my plan.
My 2012 joy is more Moab.
Hmmmm, got a chance at some crate axles, may upgrade instead of swapping out.
Well today was a good day, got a booster and brake pedal and a 44 front axle...for free! The axle will need to be cut and narrowed and I'm hoping the booster and brake pedal with only some fab work, they are out of a Jeep Cherokee.
